Petite Patisserie is a home bakery best known for its bite-sized macarons of various flavors, ranging from classic to experimental. Its brand identity, designed and implemented in 2010, was inspired by the macaron’s French origins, as well as the handmade nature and extra-small size of the macarons.
I was tasked to redesign the logo and packaging to reflect its growth from youthful and quirky, to sophisticated yet feminine. The logo redesign would appeal to Petite Patisserie’s market: existing and new customers in their late to mid-30s, who have an eye for beautifyl things and love giving food gifts to their friends and loved ones.
The new design was inspired by old French signage and ornamentation. The bright colors highlight Petite Patisserie's elegant, vintage-inspired, yet modern French style.
